With the loss of the automated dedicated system, so comes the loss of the dedicated trainee group. The points are still there and will be used as reference on future decisions to advanced previous ded trainee members into the dedicated group. There are a few people who were advanced into the ded group from trainee, for those few who were promoted, congratulations.

Meh, it still existed? Damn, that means I could've become dedi still while the points weren't even shown? D: arg! ):
Anyways, prolly a good decision.

When did the system get removed? Or hasn't existed since IPB3?
I did not rewrite the system when we moved to IPB3. After reviewing the system since it's inception, it was not adding value to snoxd. Either the ded staff was to lazy / stingy in giving points out or people just didn't want to put the effort into being dedicated (an oxymoron if you ask me...). I'm sure it's a combination of the two and the truth is somewhere in between.
Either way, only a few people actually got promoted to dedicated using the system when I expected to have much more. Of those promoted, some were abusive use of the system and no longer even with snoxd. For now we will move back to the way it used to be - a more subjective pick and promote method.

I think that is a better method Stork. People should be chosen based on certain things rather than by the number of things they have given to Snoxd.

About ded points, I have removed and/or edited all the pinned topics off the top of my head that refer to gaining ded points. If I've missed any, someone let me know. Danke!
