I see it's becoming a trend now. While it was or could have been fun at first it's now turning into mess. Especially for newcomers. Some of them have very specific questions about certain issues or confused about rules in specific section. Section moderator is there to answer these question. Many section moderators are in charge of the actual section which means they're also making the rules when necessary. We don't have many "just-mods" - as you may know - who go around and just clean. Most of our moderators have a lot more to take care of than just moderating.

So, if you're not a moderator I ask you to remove or change your avatar by the end of the next week. Failing to do so will result in instant warn.

In case many of you didn't notice, we were suspended today due to heavy server load. In working with the techs at our provider, we are finding that SQL queries have grown dramatically in length which is increasing the load. We have NEVER pruned snoxd forums... it's time! Pruning the forum will improve the efficiency of the forum software and reduce load.

Over the next several days you will notice forums being clipped and old topics not discussed will be moved off line into an archive forum. No forum will have dead posts over 1 year. Some of the more active forums may be less. We will determine what to do with the archive once these moves are complete. We will likely create an archive site so that users can recover old posts if necessary.
